Sketch Me! 1.4 is now live on the App Store. It’s a really big update for us, and we think it features some great improvements on the original.

New Features:
- Paint Mode – Draw on your sketches!
- Four brand new image effects in addition to the classic Sketch Me! sketch effect.
- Help screens to direct new users
- iOS4 support – A number of small iOS4 issues have now been resolved

This week we decided to make our simple “Sketch Me!” app free in order to promote it further. We’ve been completely overwhelmed by the result. Sketch Me! has reached the number 1 Free App spot in the U.S., Ireland, Germany, Argentina, Spain, Italy, France, Thailand, Malaysia, Equador, Belgium, Portugal, Israel, Taiwan, and probably a few other countries. The number of downloads on Wednesday alone numbered well over 200,000.
The “free” status will come to an end this weekend, but we’d like to thank all of our users for the great support. We’ll be adding some serious improvements in the coming weeks.
